The Nice BiDi-MiniShutter is a compact in-wall module that allows mechanical tubular motors for roller shutters, screens or blinds to be integrated into your smart home. Connected motors can be controlled individually, in groups or via scenarios, and the current device status can be checked. The module works with unidirectional and bidirectional transmitters and can also be used without a gateway.
BiDi-MiniShutter supports smart (auto) calibration of end positions by performing two complete movements. Manual calibration is also possible. In addition, two intermediate positions can be set, such as a ventilation position for roller shutters or slats. For precise positioning, a virtual end stop can also be configured.
Features
- BiDi technology
- Compatible with HC3
- Makes tubular motors suitable for smart home control
- Control per motor, per group or via scenarios
- Device status monitoring
- Works without a gateway and with unidirectional and bidirectional transmitters
- Automatic end position calibration (manual adjustment also possible)
- Configurable: two intermediate positions (e.g. ventilation position) and virtual end stop
- Compact installation in a junction box, behind a switch/wall plate or in the motor housing
- Wired input for a fixed wall switch (direct control)
- Backward compatible: replaces TT2N or BiDi-Shutter without replacing the transmitter
- Nice Mesh: extends radio range up to 150 m (max. 5 hops) under optimal conditions
