The Door Window Sensor 8 uses the latest Z-Wave 800 series technology and supports Z-Wave Plus Long Range. Depending on the controller used, this can provide extended wireless range. The sensor operates on a CR14250 battery with an expected battery life of up to 4 years. For permanent installations, the sensor can also be powered via a 5V USB-C connection.
