The Shelly Wave Shutter LR is a Z-Wave 800 in-wall module for controlling and accurately positioning motorized shading systems. The module is designed for applications such as roller shutters, blinds, screens, curtains and awnings with a 230V AC motor. Thanks to support for both traditional Z-Wave mesh and Z-Wave Long Range, the module is suitable for installations where extended wireless range is required.
The module supports precise positioning and allows connected shading systems to be automated and controlled remotely via a Z-Wave controller. In addition, the Wave Shutter LR features integrated power metering, providing insight into the energy consumption of the connected motor. For proper operation, it is recommended to use motors with electronic or mechanical limit switches.
The module can be powered with 110-240V AC or 24V DC and includes several protection mechanisms, including overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent protection. In addition, the module supports SmartStart for quick installation and secure communication via Z-Wave S2.
