The NICE Domi Climatic (WS) is a stylish and wireless climate sensor for measuring outdoor light intensity (Lux) and wind speed (km/h).
This climate sensor is powered by 230V.
The sensor is splash-proof (IP55) and made of weather-resistant materials, making it suitable for mounting on an exterior wall. The sensing part is adjustable relative to the mounting base, allowing installation on sloped or overhanging surfaces.
The Nice Domi Climatic uses the Nice BiDi protocol (at 433MHz) and can be connected to Nice-FIBARO gateways with the Nice BiDi protocol.
Measured values:
Light intensity: 0 - 83,000 Lux
Wind speed: 10 – 120 km/h
Practical applications:
By connecting this Nice Domi Climatic sensor to a Nice-FIBARO gateway, various new and interesting use cases become available, such as:
Outdoor light measurement: allows detection of dusk or darkness, triggering specific scenes. For example, closing blinds, awnings or starting lighting scenes.
Wind speed measurement: for closing skylights, retracting awnings or sending interactive push notifications to users.
Note: The transmission range of the Nice BiDi protocol is limited. Install this climate sensor as close as possible to the Nice-FIBARO gateway and test the range before final installation.
