The Shelly Pro 2 is a potential-free WiFi switch that can operate 2 channels. Ideal to use for your lighting, garage door or doorbell. You can even operate it with a voice assistant. The switch has a unique design so that the switch fits on a Din rail in your distribution box.
The Shelly Pro 2 has 2 outputs that together can switch a maximum of 25A, but be careful because the maximum per channel is 16A. The design of the Shelly Pro Series is made in such a way that you can easily mount the smart switches on a DIN rail in your distribution box.
The switching relay works on WiFi, LAN and Bluetooth and can therefore be used with, among other things, the Homey and Smartthings. Do you want to control the switch using a voice assistant? This is possible in combination with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant. You can also use the module stand-alone via the Shelly Smart home app.
There are new safety functions on the module that protect the module against overheating, fire and overvoltage. There is a Sunset/Sunrise schedule in the module, but you can add up to 50 actions of your own. You can also write your own script for the Shelly Pro 2 using mjS scripting, giving the module its own features and functionalities.
Supported load types
Resistive (Ohmic) – Incandescent, halogen, heaters
Capacitive – Electronic equipment with capacitors
Inductive (with RC Snubber) – LED lighting, LED drivers, air conditioning and fans
