De Senic Kinetic Switch is een draadloze schakelaar met 2 knoppen. Er is een extra knop meegeleverd waardoor de Senic Kinetic Switch om te bouwen is naar 1 knop. De knoppen reageren op drukken en vast houden aan zowel onderkant als bovenkant waardoor je tot 8 functies kan instellen. Door de koppeling aan een Philips Hue Bridge (2.0) via Zigbee kan je deze 8 functies makkelijk beheren via de Philips Hue app. Door de koppeling met Philips Hue is de Senic Kinetic Switch ook te gebruiken voor HomeKit
Omdat de schakelaar gebaseerd is op de GIRA systeem 55 vormfactor is deze, mede door de verschillende kleuren, makkelijk te combineren met veel voorkomend schakelmateriaal. Standaard word deze geleverd een frame in het GIRA E2 design. De drukknoppen zijn niet uitwisselbaar.
Door de gebruikte 'Energy harvesting technology' zet de schakelaar de energie van bedienen om in bruikbare energie voor een volgende keer dat iemand op de knop drukt. Daarom is de Senic Kinetic Switch draadloos maar ook batterij loos. Met de meegeleverde stickers is de Senic Kinetic Switch daarom ook overal te plaatsen.

The buttons respond to short and long presses on both the top and bottom, enabling up to eight programmable functions. By connecting to a Philips Hue Bridge (2.0) via Zigbee, these functions can easily be managed through the Philips Hue app. Thanks to the Hue integration, the Senic Friends of Hue Switch is also compatible with Apple HomeKit.
Because the switch follows the GIRA System 55 form factor, it can be easily combined with other GIRA-compatible frames and components, available in multiple colors. It is supplied with a frame in the GIRA E2 design. The buttons themselves are not interchangeable.
Using energy harvesting technology, the switch converts the mechanical energy from pressing a button into electrical energy for future use. This makes the Senic Friends of Hue Switch both wireless and battery-free. With the included adhesive stickers, it can be mounted anywhere with ease.
