The Heatit Z-Smoke2 Detector is a smart smoke detector that combines safety with advanced detection technology. Thanks to its multi-sensor operation, the detector recognizes both fast-flaming fires and slow-smoldering ones. At the same time, it intelligently filters between cooking smoke and real emergencies, minimizing unnecessary alarms.
The smoke detector operates on 230VAC and includes a backup battery to remain active during power outages.
In addition to smoke detection, the Heatit Z-Smoke2 Detector also alerts in case of heat, and the built-in temperature sensor reports the measured temperature. The detector can be easily integrated into a smart home system via Z-Wave. Status messages, alarms, and temperature data are transmitted wirelessly to the primary controller. In addition, the detector can be connected in series with up to 10 extra units via a gateway, also functioning as an additional siren. For optimal reliability, the Z-Smoke2 automatically calibrates every 15 days and can also be manually calibrated if needed.
