The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 is a retrofit curtain controller with Zigbee 3.0. The device is easy to hang on the rail or the rod. Enjoy automatic control of the existing curtains based on the weather, time, temperature or other triggers. The Curtain Driver E1 has a powerful motor and can pull heavy curtains (up to 12kg). In addition, the device has an adjustable opening speed, so that the motor works more quietly or the curtain opens slowly. There is also support for device grouping, so you can open a window with two curtains at the same time with two Curtain Drivers. This is the official European version with CE approval and complies with the legal requirements.
Two versions available: Track and Rod
The Curtain Driver E1 supports almost all curtain rails or rods.
- Rod version: supports all types of rods
- Track version: supports all U- and I-rails
The product has a built-in battery (6400 mAh) and can be charged via USB Type-C cable. The device can also be continuously supplied with power via this input. Note: For constant power supply, the cable must be placed freely to avoid tangling.
The battery life of the Curtain Driver E1 is on average 1 year. Actual life may vary depending on curtain weight, rail length and friction. Based on the following data, the Curtain Driver will work for about 9 – 10 months: a rail of 1.5 meters, a curtain with a weight of 12 kg, open and close once a day.
Compatible with popular smart home ecosystems through the Aqara Hubs, including HomeKit, Alexa, IFTTT and more. Matter support will be available via an OTA update via the Aqara Hubs.
